How 110cc  CDI Pick-up Works

Pick-up module( see picture on right)  receives magnetic pulse signal from flywheel
Signal is tranfered to CDI to thru E
When CDI receives signal current is released thru A
Test Pick-UP
Set meter to ohms (continuity)
+ Pos probe to E - probe to ground
When engine spins  pulsing continuity will be read

Note: The pick-up module contains a magnet that can be damaged if contact is made




with flywheel.
