| Switches And No Fire To Plug Most of these switches are not fuse protected in systems with electric starter . KEYED IGNITION SWITCH
,usually has two circuits, engine on/off and 12v on / off, this circuit
is fuse protected ( lights, horn, electric starter, horn ect.)
if any bulb to light up consider the 12v circuit of the switch OK . ON/ OFF circuit can be tested for continuity, try to find an schematic , this circuit will not read 12v.
ON/ OFF SWITCH (Not keyed) ON/ OFF switch can be tested for continuity. BRAKE / CLUTCH HANDLE SWITCH if you see an electric wire attached to this device it could be a CDI disable, coil ground, electric starter disable. You may need to engage the handle to get fire to the plug. Continuity test the suspect handle. EMERGENCY TOGGLE CUT-OFF This device must be locked center. Continuity test the suspect switch. SAFETY PULL-AWAY SWITCH This device is a key, connector or plug that can be attached to the rider. PRESSURE SENSOR SWITCH , Oil pressure, kickstand, seat lock, these are the hardest to diagnose, if suspect bypass and test system.
A switch only completes or breaks a circuit. Inspect the switch before bypassing to determine the function.
